This website presents Thalamus services and links to the engineering blog.

Local preferences

Your light or dark theme preference and your choice to pause animation may be stored in your browser’s local storage. These preferences stay in your browser; this website does not send them to a server. You can remove them by clearing this site’s browser data.

Contact enquiries

When the contact form is available, it asks for your name, email address, and message. Company and service topic are optional. Karén uses this information to respond to your enquiry. Please do not include passwords, access keys, or confidential customer data.

Cloudflare processes the request and checks it for spam using Turnstile. The form loads Turnstile when you interact with it. A short-lived rate limiter uses a hash derived from your IP address to limit repeated attempts. The email service Resend processes the message and sends it to team@thalamus.am, a mailbox hosted by Zoho. Your email address is included so Karén can reply to you.

The website does not keep a separate database of form submissions, and its contact handler does not log message contents. Resend and Zoho process and retain email under their own service policies. Sending a message does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Project assistant

The guided questions, service notes, and fictional sample work in your browser. Your draft and conversation stay in page memory. Reloading or closing the page clears them, so copy or download anything you want to keep. The assistant does not save drafts in browser storage.

When live AI is available, you choose whether to enable it before the assistant contacts Cloudflare for a spam check or AI help. Sending a question shares that question and a limited part of the conversation with Cloudflare Workers AI. Asking for suggestions shares the current brief fields. Editing a field by itself does not send it. Please omit passwords, access keys, and confidential customer information.

Thalamus does not store conversation transcripts on its server or log message contents in the assistant handler. A short-lived session and usage counters limit repeated requests. They store hashed session identifiers, a secret-derived hash of your IP address, timestamps, and counts. Sessions expire after 30 minutes; the IP-based session-creation window is one hour. Scheduled cleanup removes expired records, and the daily counters reset at midnight UTC. Cloudflare’s own infrastructure and retention policies also apply.

Cloudflare states that Workers AI customer content is not used to train models or improve its services without explicit consent. Messages are still processed by Cloudflare. See Workers AI data use and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

AI suggestions do not change your brief fields. Choosing to use a brief in the contact form only copies it into the form; sending it remains a separate action. Opening an email draft uses your mail application. The assistant never sends email or subscribes you to a list by itself.

Analytics

The site does not use visitor analytics or advertising scripts. Fonts, styles, illustrations, and the site’s own scripts are served as part of the site.

Hosting

Cloudflare serves the public website and may process routine connection information, such as your IP address and requested page, to deliver and protect it.
